How to reset Aircove or Aircove Go

This guide will show you how to reset an ExpressVPN Aircove or Aircove Go to factory default settings.

Soft reset Aircove from its dashboard

If you can access Aircove’s dashboard, this is the easiest way to reset it. The steps are the same for Aircove and Aircove Go.

1. Sign in to your Aircove’s dashboard.
2. Select Advanced Settings > Back Up and Restore.
3. Select Reset; you will be prompted if you want to go ahead; select Continue.
4. Your Aircove will take a few minutes to reset. During this process, your devices will be disconnected from the Aircove’s network.
5. To set up the Aircove again, connect to its default network using a LAN cable or Wi-Fi (see how to find the default sign-in details for your router).

Hard reset Aircove using reset pin or button

If you cannot access Aircove’s dashboard, you will need to hard reset it. The steps differ slightly between Aircove and Aircove Go.

1. Make sure Aircove or Aircove Go is turned on.
2. Hold the reset pin on the back of Aircove or the reset button on the side of Aircove Go for 10 seconds until the LED flashes four times.
3. Your Aircove will take a few minutes to reset. During this process, your devices will be disconnected from the Aircove’s network.
4. To set up the Aircove again, connect to its default network using a LAN cable or Wi-Fi (see how to find the default sign-in details for your router).
